Pushing Version 0.2


Good Day!

So I have been promising a new playable version for a while now, and had to delay it quit alot. This was simply because, and I've said this so many times, making levels takes forever. However! I have decided to focus on pushing the levels for the first 3 level packs in a side sprint, a sprint I gave the number 2.5. This sprint goes from 11-08-2018 till 17-08-2018 with as goal, a new playable version at the end date. So yes, you can expect version 0.2 on Friday the 17th of August. Even if I don't get those 60 levels ready, I WILL release version 0.2 on this day, no excuses, no more delay, release... or... RIOT.

As usual, the progress I've made so far since last post, will be discussed.

Hint System Change

So I was thinking that if I allow hints for each level, players could just request a hint, quit out of the level, go back in, and request a hint again. This is kinda cheaty and abusing the system, so I decided to make the hints one time use forever. So if you use a hint, it will NEVER allow you to use a hint again on that specific level. Unless off course, you would wipe your profile.

Worm Hole

The Worm Hole allows you to travel through space and time, and come out through another Worm Hole, without using any of the power of the light you came frome. When flying into a Worm Hole it will spit you out at a linked Worm Hole.


Jump Light

The Jump Light is an overcharged Normal Light, that forces you into shoot mode. It usually has really high power, allowing you to travel far distances.  Its remaining power is not counted towards your end score, only its usage. If you didn't make use of it, you will use 1 point. You can distinguish these from Normal Lights, by its intenser color and glow.


Dying Light

An actor I accidentally created too early as it wasn't on the priority at the moment, is the Dying Light. This light was planned for the Gotta Be Fast level pack. It's a Normal Light that slowly drains itself when you rest on it, taking you with it into the grave when it fully drains. This forces you to think fast, as the range at which you can travel becomes shorter and shorter. This actor won't be in Version 0.2, as it was planned for level pack 4.


Achievements

So last Friday, I was drifting away from my priorities by accident, and ended up making a stat collecting system, and added in achievements that were only planned to be done in a few weeks. But hey! At least I don't have to worry about that anymore! There are various achievements for lots of different stuff, when you get an achievement you will be notified on the top of your screen, and you can find all achievements in the Unlocks menu.


Get Vector Light
